Félix de la Concha (b. 1962 León, Spain; lives and works in Pittsburgh, PA and Madrid, Spain) was commissioned to make a work for Boca Raton's centenary and he chose to focus on the Addison of Boca Raton, the first building Addison Mizner designed, and one that leads directly to his famous resort. Félix also chose to work at the crossroads across from the Addison at the intersection of Camino Real and Dixie Highway, the latter dating from 1915. It includes the tracks of Henry Flagler's railroad that really opened up South Florida to development.
