Tinki Winki

El Salvador
21 years old

He was brought from El Salvador as a baby. He never solved his paperwork. He became a father in the USA. He was arrested by Immigration and brought to Krome. He would call his little girl every night and sing her songs. He kept telling and yelling to everyone “I am an American, my life is here. I don’t know anybody in El Salvador.” In spite of everything, he was deported.

He was nicknamed “Tinki Winki” after the popular children’s character.
