It is great to look at art but it’s better to get involved. The Museum’s Look, See, Create gallery activities provide creative and thought-provoking writing and drawing activities for visitors while looking at artwork. Carefully crafted for both individuals and groups, young and old, novices and experts, visitors have fun creating in the galleries. Located on the Second Floor, there are six areas to investigate and become inspired – Abstract, African, Landscape, Narrative, Portraiture, and Pre-Columbian.
Pick up a sketchbook at the Museum’s front desk to help you illustrate your experiences at the Museum through images and/or words. Be creative and witty: sketch a portion of your favorite work of art, draft a funny narrative for a painting, or recreate an artwork and place yourself or a friend into the work.
