Art School Faculty: 5x5
Accomplished faculty members of the Art School each exhibit five artworks in this annual show in the Museum’s Wolgin Gallery. This year’s featured artists are:
Carla Golembe received her M.F.A. from the University of Guanajuato/Instituto Allende in Mexico and her B.A. from Bennington College. She has illustrated more than 20 picture books. She has received awards from The New York Times, Parent's Choice, The American Folklore Society, NSTA/CBS.
Chris Lopez received his B.A. from Beaux Arts at Pau Gargallo University in Barcelona, Spain. He is an experienced graphic designer, including creating designs for the 1992 Olympic Games and managing his own graphic design shop in Barcelona. His has exhibited works in Spain and Florida.
Lawrence Miller received his B.F.A. in photography from Florida Atlantic University and studied at Art Institute of Fort Lauderdale. He has extensive experience in digital photography specializing in High Dynamic Range landscapes and black and white images.
Diane Reeves received her M.A. and B.A. from the University of South Florida. Reeves’ award winning work has been featured in American Art Collector and Southwest Art magazines as well as national exhibitions. Her work is found in collections in the US and Europe.
Suzanne Scherer received her M.F.A. from Brooklyn College at the City University of New York. Pavel Ouporov received his M.F.A. from the Moscow Surikov State Academy Art Institute. His works are in the permanent collections of The Metropolitan Museum of Art, Fogg Art Museum, Harvard University, Library of Congress, New York Public Library, and The State Russian Museum.
