Join Mallory O’Connor as she divulges Florida’s especially rich visual mythology. Images that span centuries attest to both the vivid imagination of the artists who have sought to capture the essence of an exotic landscape and the equally flamboyant narratives that have fueled the region’s reputation for novelty and eccentricity.

This program is sponsored by the Florida Humanities Council with funds from the Florida Department State, Division of Cultural Affairs and the Florida Council on Arts and Culture.
