The Chamber Music Society of Palm Beach in partnership with the Boca Raton Museum of Art is pleased to present a splendid, thought-provoking program by internationally acclaimed musicians Jennifer Koh and Reiko Uchida. Your evening begins with a cocktail reception in the Museum’s Grand Hall before this superlative performance in the Galleries as Koh and Uchida perform Johann Sebastian Bach’s legendary Violin Partita No. 2 in D Minor, Missy Mazzoli’s Dissolve, O My Heart, Luciano Berio’s Sequenza VIII, and Maurice Ravel’s Violin Sonata in G Major. Concert underwritten by Marlene and Martin Brody.

Violinist Jennifer Koh is recognized for her intense, commanding performances, delivered with dazzling virtuosity and technical assurance. She is Musical America’s 2016 Instrumentalist of the Year, a winner of the Concert Artists Guild Competition, and a recipient of an Avery Fisher Career Grant. 

Reiko Uchida

Pianist Reiko Uchida is recognized as one of the finest, most versatile pianists on the scene today. First prize winner of the Joanna Hodges Piano Competition, Ms. Uchida has appeared as a soloist with numerous orchestras, including the Los Angeles Philharmonic, the Orchestra of the Curtis Institute, and the Santa Fe Symphony, among others.
