Exhibition Leadership Fund Event - Matthew Schreiber
Sunday, Feb. 26 / 5:00 pm

Holographer and laser light artist Matthew Schreiber is our Honored Guest at this informal cocktail for donors to the Museum’s E.L.F.. Schreiber’s large-scale light installations have been presented in art venues in Basel, Switzerland, and Gwangju, South Korea. The Cleveland native was inspired by “Star Wars” and theme parks in his childhood to pursue a BFA at the University of Florida and an MFA at the School of the Art Institute of Chicago. He studied holography at the Royal College of Art in London and worked as the chief lighting expert for artist James Turrell for 13 years. For the past several years he has been focusing on his own studio practice, which is deeply informed by historical art. Hosted by E.L.F. Chairs Jody & Martin Grass at their home, this gathering provides an informational overview of exhibitions for our 2017-2018 season and beyond

By invitation only for donors to the Exhibition Leadership Fund at $5,000 and above. RSVP required by Feb 22 at 561.392.2500, ext. 218 or [email protected]
