Conversations that Matter: Identity
Sunday, Apr. 19 / 3:00–4:00 pm
Boca Raton Museum of Art

The subject of Identity is the third in our series of Conversations that Matter. Complementing the Eye to I exhibition and leading up to Pride of the Americas 2020, the Boca Raton Museum of Art presents an informative presentation exploring the intersection of self-portraiture and LGBTQ identity. Dr. Nicole Morse, Director of FAU’s Center for Women, Gender, and Sexuality Studies, discusses how identity is solidified in different art forms with Misty Eyez, Director of Women’s Services and Transgender Services at SunServe, and visual and performance artist Roberto Navarrete. These community leaders provide insight into identity and self-representation among the LGBTQ community.
