The Boca Raton Museum of Art presents an informative panel discussion by experts in the healthcare field. Dr. James Galvin, Professor of Neurology, and Director of the Comprehensive Center for Brain Health at the Charles E. Schmidt College of Medicine, Florida Atlantic University discusses issues of memory with Dr. María Ordóñez, Director of the FAU Louis and Anne Green Memory and Wellness Center, and Dr. Karen Gilbert, Vice President of Education & Quality Assurance at Alzheimer’s Community Care in West Palm Beach. These panelists provide insight into memory disorders and the possible benefits of the arts.

Conversations that Matter is a program that delves into issues and ideas that impact our community. Based on artwork on view, the museum involves community and art leaders to provide insight into these matters.
