New York based photographer Phyllis Galembo has spent three decades documenting participants in contemporary African ceremonies celebrating mythic characters in masks and costumes. Hear about her extensive travels and photographic adventures in this informative talk.

Following her presentation, Ms. Galembo will sign copies of her books Maske and Mexico Masks Rituals which are available for purchase in the Museum Store.
