An image of a cider block wall and a door are the ground and the starting point of a of video installation that deals with the concept of migration and connections. Migration not only seen as a concept or movement from one place to another but as an action with all its implications about memory and identity. My experiences, drawings and actions come together exploring the possibility that spaces might retain a sort of memory through times.

As an immigrant myself, I don’t believe in walls, frontiers or barriers but in openings that change the world. I believe that when we migrate we uproot ourselves for a place unknown, in pursuit of safety and dignity, justice and freedom and the first sing of existence is to define our space. In this video installation I am playing with the notion of circular time through the immemorial dilemma between reality and representation.
