This course is an introduction to sculpting clay using hand building processes. Pinch, coil, slab, and combination approaches to working with clay are used as the basis for creating a variety of forms. This course is intended for ages ranging from middle school to adult; emphasis is placed on personal development regardless of starting ability. Each class provides process demonstrations and individualized direction.
