Using ink pens on paper and/or sketchbooks learn to create a wide variety of expressive lines and textures, crosshatching, washes, and values. We will apply these techniques to nature and urban settings. Study basic proportions, perspective, and methods. We will begin working in the classroom and, weather permitting, we may meet at various locations outside. Urban sketching with various techniques will be explored.
