Working from a live model, learn anatomy, proportion, and composition in creating the human form in three dimensions. Students may work in a traditional direct observation manner or incorporate other forms to express their own personality in the sculpture. Sculptures will be kiln-fired.

Drawing inspiration from masterworks in museums is a time honored tradition. Degas, Ingres, Delacroix, and Picasso each copied masterworks in the Louvre.
