Following is a list of volunteer opportunities within the Museum. Our Volunteer Coordinator will meet with you to assess your interests and match them with our needs. You will then receive specific details, training and scheduling options from the area(s) in which you will serve.
| Front Desk/Visitor Services | Greet and welcome visitors, provide information, use touch-screen to sell admission tickets (cash, credit cards, receipts), sell memberships, distribute stickers, use clicker for visitor count, answer telephone, collect visitor surveys, check in packages, umbrellas, camer as. etc. |
| Museum Store | Greet visitors, use computer for sales transactions, arrange and maintain displays, become familiar with merchandise to help shoppers find items and suggest gift ideas. |
| Special Events | Greet and direct visitors at front door, check in members and non-members, sell memberships, provide other assistance as directed and needed by event staff; special events include exhibition openings, Family Days, ARTful Adventure Sundays, Music at the Museum, films, lectures, Annual Auction, Annual Gala, Art Festival and more. |
| Office Assistance | Provide clerical assistance, such as filing, compiling membership packets, inputting data, helping with ongoing work or special projects as directed by staff. |
| Mailing Committee | Help address and stuff envelopes for mailings as directed by committee chair. |
| Telephone Committee | Help telephone members and volunteers as directed by committee chair. |
