Summer Camp final exhibit   on exhibit until Friday, August 21.  Price: free. Location: Boca Raton Museum of Art, 501 Plaza Real, Boca Raton Fl Short Description: annual   exhibit celebrating the creative artwork of over 600 children who attended summer camp

 


 

   Opening reception for exhibit Ceramics & Clay Sculpture   Date: Friday, August 28 Time:  6 – 8pm.  Price: free.  On exhibit: August 28 to September  30.   An exhibit of ceramic pottery and sculpture by Catalina Aguirre-Hoffman, Barbara Brown, Noemia Felipe, Abbey Funk, Lori Gegory, Stephanie Hubbard, Jan Kolenda, Justin Lambert, Diane Lublinski, and Susan Maguire.

 

       Opening reception for Boca Photo Exhibit   Date: Friday, August 28 Time:  6 – 8pm.  Price: free.  On exhibit: August 28 to September 27. Photographs by Mark Creamer, Jane Day, Andrea Kraus and Christopher Palmer Warren.

 

     Open House   Date: Saturday, August 29 Time: 1pm – 4pm Price: free.  Short Description:  Meet teachers, learn about art classes, visit the studios and see short demonstrations of art techniques. Food trucks, raffle to win art supplies, free refreshments, and gifts from local art stores. 

 

  

    “Portrait of Old Floresta” Plein air painting in the neighborhood   Date: 9/17, 9/24, 10/8, 10/15, 11/5, 11/12, 12/3, 12/10 Time: 9am - noon Price: free. Short Description: Plein air Painters of Palm Beach County will be painting in the neighborhood around the Art School. painters and spectators are invited.

 

 


     

2nd Annual Boca Photo Workshops Date: Sunday, September 27 Time: 11am – 3pm Price: free, but reservations required. Short Description: Workshops and discussions on photography presented by instructors and professional photographers. 

 

 

 

New ‘appetizer’ art classes  start Date: Monday, September 28 Time: vary Price: $125 and up.  Short Description:  New short 4-week courses for beginners to test the creative side or to try a new art form. Classes include: Colored-pencil Drawing, Create a Pop-up Book, Doodling as Art, Glass Fusing, Perspective Drawing, Reverse Glass Painting.

 

   Lecture: "Portraiture in Art"  Four Tuesdays starts 9/28, Time: 1:30 – 3:15pm Price: $135.  Short Description: A look at portraits though the ages. Learn how to identify art periods and styles including Early Renaissance, Baroque, Neo-Classical and Contemporary Art through the lens of portraiture.

Military Trail, Boca Raton, FL 33486 Short Description: In celebration of the 65th anniversary of the ART School and Museum An exhibit of over 90 art work by current Boca Raton Museum Art School adult and teen students.

Art Workshop: Black Coral Jewelry Making Date: Saturday, November 14 Time: noon to 5pm Price: $110.  Short Description: Create your own unique jewelry using Florida black coral. Learn how to smooth, polish, and form the coral into shapes and complete your jewelry piece with sterling silver findings.

 

   Create a Holiday Platter in Ceramics Date: Saturday, November 14 Time: 1-4pm Price: $65. Short Description: Create and design a serving platter from scratch. Roll out the wet clay and create your own texture and designs.  Learn the slab method and finish with colorful glazes
 

Art Workshop: Enameling Date: Saturday, December 5 Time: noon – 5pm Price: $90. Short Description: Create a small bowl as you learn to fuse glass powder onto copper. Explore stamping or texturing silver foil to enliven your enamel with pattern and designs. Image:

Andrea Huffman's textile work was on exhibit at the Rossetti Gallery in Wilton Manors, July to August 18.

What is a CVV Code?

CVV2 is a security measure for credit cards. Since a CVV2 number is listed on your credit card, but is not stored anywhere, the only way to know the correct CVV2 number for your credit card is to physically have possession of the card itself. All VISA, Discover, MasterCard and American Express cards made in America in the past 5 years or so have a CVV2 number. However Diners Club does not use a security code.

How to find your CVV2 number:
On a VISA, Discover or MasterCard, please turn your card over and look in the signature strip. You will find (either the entire 16-digit string of your card number, OR just the last 4 digits), followed by a space, followed by a 3-digit number. That 3-digit number is your CVV2 number.(See below)

On American Express Cards, the CVV2 number is a 4-digit number that appears above the end of your card number. (See below)
