   Paint a Mug    Paint your own personalized and artistic coffee mug. Keep your mug in the Art School kitchen cabinet so you don't have to drink out of Styrofoam when you are at the Art Saturday, December 5: 10:30 AM - 12:30 PM and repeated 1- 3 PM.   Instructor: HOFFMAN, CATALINA AGUIRRE  Price: $25 current student,   $35 non- student


Art Workshop: Enameling Date: Saturday, December 5 Time: noon – 5pm Price: $90. Short Description: Create a small bowl as you learn to fuse glass powder onto copper. Explore stamping or texturing silver foil to enliven your enamel with pattern and designs.



Fabric Wall Hanging Learn to make stencils and relief stamps of personal symbols and shapes to print onto dyed fabric to create your own fabric artwork finished with a bamboo rod for hanging.  Saturday, December 5, 1:00 - 4:00 PM Instructor: HUFFMAN ANDREA Price: $75 Material Fee: $10



Open House: Sunday, December 13, 1 - 4 PM. Join us for a fun afternoon, meet teachers, learn about classes, and see demonstrations of art techniques, such as pottery, jewelry, painting, book making, printing and stone carving. 








  Open Figure Drawing: Saturday afternoons, 1- 3:45 PM,   Un-instructed life drawing workshops for art school current students and Artists' Guild members. 
  $15 per session. Reservations REQUIRED. Call or email the art school to make a reservation. This workshop fills up, drop-ins discouraged.  12/5, 12/12, 12/19.




  “Portrait of Old Floresta” Plein air painting in the neighborhood   Date:  12/3, 12/10 Time: 9am - noon   11/12 and 11/14 start time is 2pm. Price: free. Short Description: Plein air Painters of   Palm Beach County will be painting in the neighborhood around the Art School. Artists of all levels are invited to participate, bring your own supplies. Spectators are invited too.





2nd Annual Boca Photo Workshops Date: Sunday, September 27 Time: 11am – 3pm Price: free, but reservations required. Short Description: Workshops and discussions on photography presented by instructors and professional photographers. Call for information. Presenters: Mark Creamer, Jane Day, Andrea Kraus and Christopher Palmer Warren.

   Lecture: "Portraiture in Art"  Four Tuesdays starts 10/27, Time: 1:30 – 3:15pm Price: $135.  Short Description: A look at portraits though the ages. Learn how to identify art periods and styles including Early Renaissance, Baroque, Neo-Classical and Contemporary Art through the lens of portraiture.

 Create a Holiday Platter in Ceramics  Date: Saturday, November 14 Time: 1-4pm Price: $65. Short Description: Create and design a serving platter from scratch. Roll out the wet clay and create your own texture and designs.  Learn the slab method and finish with colorful glazes

Jane McIntyre's work is on exhibit at the Weisman Community Center, 7901 West Atlantic Avenue, Delray Beach. 10/19 to 12/6/15.  Artist's talk and Reception: Sunday, Nov. 15, 1-3pm

Roxene Sloate's paintings are in the group exhibit "Nature Preserved" at the Palm Beach Cultural Council, 601 Lake Ave, Lake Worth.  On exhibit 11/13 to 1/2/16.

Andrea Huffman's textile work was on exhibit at the Rossetti Gallery in Wilton Manors, July to August 18.

What is a CVV Code?

CVV2 is a security measure for credit cards. Since a CVV2 number is listed on your credit card, but is not stored anywhere, the only way to know the correct CVV2 number for your credit card is to physically have possession of the card itself. All VISA, Discover, MasterCard and American Express cards made in America in the past 5 years or so have a CVV2 number. However Diners Club does not use a security code.

How to find your CVV2 number:
On a VISA, Discover or MasterCard, please turn your card over and look in the signature strip. You will find (either the entire 16-digit string of your card number, OR just the last 4 digits), followed by a space, followed by a 3-digit number. That 3-digit number is your CVV2 number.(See below)
