June 2010 Exhibition OpeningsThe galleries were bustling with activity and anticipation during the opening reception of the Museum's Summer Exhibitions: 59th Annual All Florida Juried Competition and Boca Museum Artists' Guild Biennial Exhibition on Tuesday June 22, 2010.
Winners were announced for each Exhibition.
59th Annual All Florida - Best In Show went to Kerry Phillips for "Chairs Found and Fixed", Merit Awards went to three artists, Roberta Schofield for her body of work, Noelle Mason for "Nothing Much Happened Today: for Eric and Dylan" and Melissa Marrero for her body of work. Boca Museum Artists' Guild Biennial Exhibition - 1st Place went to Francene Levinson for "Rising", 2nd Place to Lorraine Bader for "Empress Cixi", 3rd Place to Jerome Glickman for "Rebirth of Creative Self", Juror's Recognition to Hanne Niederhausen for "Gutenberg's Notebook" and Honorable Mention to Sally Cooper for "La Mer (Triptych)".
