TEEN SPECIAL NEEDS CLASS - Special needs students are required to submit the Special Student Application along with their class registration in order to identify any needed accommodations and support. The Boca Museum Art School has developed a new arts program in collaboration with FAU Center for Autism and Related Disabilities, specifically designed for teens between the ages of 14 and 17 with mild to moderate Autism. A variety of mediums such as drawing, painting, mixed media and sculpture will be used to enhance the student’s creative process. The Visual Arts is a logical place for individuals with autism, who see the world in a visual manner, to be given an opportunity to express themselves creatively.
