57th Annual All Florida Juried Competition and Exhibition
July 2 - September 7, 2008

The Museum's All Florida exhibition annually showcases the best prominent and emerging Florida artists working in all media today. As the state's oldest annual juried competition, the Museum's All Florida has introduced the work of thousands of Florida artists - emerging, under-recognized, and established younger and mid-career artists. Representing a dynamic contemporary cross-section of our state's talent, the 57th All Florida Juried Exhibition reinforces the Museum's commitment to Florida artists, provides professional exhibition opportunities for emerging artists, and reveals a provocative glimpse - through Florida artists' eyes - of the state-of-the-art today.

This year's co-jurors are Jan van der Marck, former Chief Curator at the Detroit Institute of Arts, and Jef Bourgeau, Director of the Museum of New Art, Detroit, Michigan, who will review submissions, selecting the exhibition and awards

The Museum will once again utilize the electronic online web-service, CaFÉ, www.callforentry.org to accept all applications. Learn how to register for the 57th Annual All Florida Juried Competition and Exhibition by taking one of the workshop's offered at The Art School.

ELECTRONIC IMAGE PREP WORKSHOP / Glenn Heino
This workshop will demonstrate the process of photographing your artwork (paintings, sculpture, jewelry, etc...) and creating images suitable for printing and online submission. This process is necessary when entering your artwork to be juried into a show such as the Annual All Florida Juried Competition and Exhibition at the Boca Raton Museum of Art. At the end of this workshop you will go online, create your account, register for an event and upload your images.
